Pathfinder RPG with other themes?

General Discussion (Prerelease)

Liberty's Edge

Once the core books for the Pathfinder RPG start coming out I would love to see it expand into other areas.

For example:
Pathfinder - Steampunk, could be a hardcover book containing rules and settings (like the Eberron book) and could accompanied by a 6 part adventure path (probably spread out across the two main Pathfinder APs, like December-May or something) for it. And it could be done for other things too! Modern, Sci-Fi, Lovecraftian Horror, Superheroes... things that wouldn't fit into a regular Pathfinder (D&D) setting.

It's still obviously a bit premature, but I'd like to plant the seed in Paizo's head ^^

Alkenstar. :)

Sci-Fi,

The planetary system in which Golarion exists, the automatons and strange fluids of Numeria, and the mysteries of the Derro aren't enough for you?

Aboleth, Ghoul cities, Zon-Kuthon, Rovagug, and the Outer Darkness, perhaps?

How many times does James have to say they won't work on an Epic Level sourcebook until AFTER the core PFRPG is released and settled in!

;)

Like what? :D

There's a big difference between a sci-fi game and a spelljammer style game in atmosphere. Same with Steampunk vs just playing in Alkenstar.

The Iron Kingdoms in Pathfinder would be cool.
