I was looking into finding out more about the factions in pathfinder, and I was just wondering, what books really go into them? I was hoping for more than just general overviews of what they are really about, what their tactics and goals are, which churchs really endorse which ones, things like that.

The main reasons I asked was because 1)there are factions so to speak in the campaign book (if you understand factions as being organized societies of like minded individuals) and 2) this isn't the right forum for the question.
I would imagine that the main published lines are not going to directly support the Pathfinder Society. On the other hand, any Golarion core material from the campaign books and companion and chronicles lines are probably fair game for the society and I would not be too surprised to see an eventual writeup on most of the nations of Golarion.

Also there are several products in the Pathfinder Companions line that deal with the various Faction nations (Osirion, Land of the Pharoahs, Taldor, Echoes of Glory, Qadira, Gateway to the East, Cheliax, Empire of Devils and Andoran, Spirit of Liberty)

Note: only the osirion one has been released, it it delt more with the country as a whole, and not the motivations of the faction

That is what Iwas affraid of. I have both and was hoping for more details. I appriciate the responses, and I'll look into those other books some. Thanks.
