Hafling Keen Senses contradiction

Knowing that my "search fu" stinks, I could not find a post that solves the following contradiction, in either Races or Skills forums.

In the Races chapter is says for Haflings:

Keen Senses: Halflings receive a +2 racial bonus on sound-based Perception skill checks.

In the Skills chapter for Perception it says for Haflings:

Special: A halfling has a +2 bonus on hearing- and taste-based Perception checks.

Which one is correct?

May have to wait for the new book to find out for sure, but since I play a halfling in our current campaign I vote for the latter. *cackle*

Presumably the races section takes precedence over the skills section.

However, in this case I'd give the little guys both the bonuses. Really, how often do you get to use taste-based perception checks?
