Ruin Delver's Fortune too powerful?

I know I asked this back during the playtest but I didn't get much response. What do others feel about this spell? It is from the Spell Compendium and seems absurdly broke if you ask me. Just looking for other opinions and angles I might not be seeing.

My DM hated it, and I (the player of a level 14 sorcerer) loved it. 'Nuff said.

(By the way, this is the wrong group -- this belongs in the 3.5/d20 sub-board.)

Scarab Sages

I'm gonna have to review that spell for my game.

DMs often hate immediate action spells because they disrupt the flow of the game. Plus, the immunity stuff (poison, fear) makes the DM's monsters much less deadly.
