So, GenCon and PaizoCon are coming up, though unfortunately I will be unable to attend for the same reason as last year. Come this fall I will still be playing in the sandbox. Not really a heartbreaker like it used to be since I have grown used to it by now. What I do hate missing is the release of the PFRPG. So I have a proposal for anyone who would like to make a little extra cash and has decent name recognition on these boards. If someone can score me a autographed copy of the PFRPG Hardcover (the more autographs the merrier of course) I will happily pay them 100 dollars for their efforts and cover all related expenses. These expenses include but may not be limited to the cost of the book itself in addition to packaging and shipping to my home address. Other Pathfinder goodies would also be happily received and I would also cover their individual costs but the 100 dollars is where I have to top out as a service fee. Also, as long as it is someone who frequents these boards a lot and has a lot invested in the community I would not mind sending them the 100 dollar check before the convention. This would be a nice way for someone to get their own copy and more in exchange for helping a soldier out. If there are many replies my offer will not necessarily go to the first person to do so. It will go solely to someone I can feel comfortable with.

I'll toss my offer up there. I live in Indiana so GenCon is always a doable deal.
The one disclaimer I have for myself is I'll be finding out within a week or two if I'm leaving the country or not. If I find out I'm leaving I'll withdraw.
However, I'm not betting on it. It's hard to get ahold of these guys.
All things considered I doubt I'm going. As such I'll be going to GenCon and I'll be picking up a copy. If you want me to grab you one and have the guys autograph it, I'll be more than happy to.

I don't know if I fit your qualifications, but if no one else volunteers(and/or Paul isn't able to attend), I'd be happy to pick one up for you. You can even send the check (or via Paypal) after you get the book, and I'll only charge you the cost of the book plus shipping. I'm planning on picking up a couple of copies the first day anyway, and I'll be running games for Paizo all weekend, so I can try to get as many signatures as possible for you.
I can't express enough my respect for the sacrifices all you guys over there are making. A little bit of time and trust on my part is the least I can do to say thanks to a fellow gamer.

That is really great of you guys. I am excited and happy that I found someone willing to do this for me. As I type this the countdown on the GenCon website says 142 days, 4 hours, 57 mins and 47 seconds. Looks like we have plenty of time to work out the details.
