I am a older gamer coming back to RPG gaming after a long time away, and I must say the choices just suck.
Both D&D and Pathfinder are overly complicated and that = major suckage.
D&D 4.0 is just WoW put to pen and paper. Playing this version of the game would probably make you sterile, or induce some kind of genetic mutation. Play this and your children will probably be born with missing, or extra, limbs.
The Palladium FRPG is the only one I have found that still has the original essence of pen and paper RPG gaming (but adding the Rifts junk to the FRPG was a bad idea)
I remember Chain Mail. It was awesome! D&D, Traveler, Twilight 2000, Boot Hill, all of those were stellar! Today's stuff just sucks big green donkey d***!
