Lots of people are looking to share rooms and I thought it might be best to establish one thread in which we can all arrange this.
First, has anyone confirmed with the hotel the additional cost per person when going above two people? This might be good info to know, but in any case I'm sure it will be cheaper the more people per room, even adding in the extra fees.
Post your gender, the nights you're staying, and how many open spots you have, how many total you want in the room, and any specific requests, like "no smelly people" or "roommates must be ok with loud snoring." If you have already held a room, making mention of that might be helpful as well.
If you see someone above you who you'd like to room with, say so. I can come by every once in a while and compile rooms available and such as we've done for the RPG Superstar exit poll threads.

I'm also looking for a roomate, I'll be coming in on the 11th and staying for the full weekend. I'm male and I don't care how many people share the room as long as you aren't loud partiers. I'm looking forward to gaming 24/7 so either game with me or be non-disruptive (which means do your own thing as long as it isn't so loud we can't game)
I cannot room with people who fail to follow the simple rules of good hygene, so yes no smelly people, no dirty people either.

I'm still weighing all my options, but I gotta admit, the idea of sharing some space with folks, in order to cut the bill down to more than half, is a cool idea.
My main need for a room during the Con would be for naps, hygiene, and storage. *chuckles*
I'm a 35 year-old male who keeps himself quite clean, so no worries about the various offenses, and I don't snore, or at least no one I've shared a room or bed with have told me that I snore.

Depending on who it is, and if it's cool with the roomie, I might be up for letting someone use my couch. Sufficiently cool people with snacks and sodas have the best chance.
I live in a house in Redmond, about 10-15 minutes down the highway from Bellevue. Email is karuikage@karuikage.net if you're curious.
(Note: If I don't recognize your nick as someone of sufficient awesome from the boards, I will likely say no! Sorry!)

Alright then...
I have a double room reserved from Thurday night through Monday morning.
I am a 36 year old male, good hygene, no major odious personal habits (that anyone has brought to my attention). I do snore some, but mostly when my allergies are aggrivated. Looking for one similar person to share the room with. Reply here or drop me a line at haka21@yahoo.com if you want to share the room.

Me and Gav can probably hook you up LKL for 3 person - I'm sending you an email right now (mine is in my profile at the moment if you don't get it).

aww thanks, didn't know you cared :) there's one last hope I can hold out for, that the tickets don't sell out for a few months and my settlement is big enough that I can get a car and finance a trip to new york for my wife and a trip to washington for me. If that happens (not really holding out much hope for it) I'll be able to come.

Actually, after checking with the roommate I realized that the bonus room or couch are both feasible options, so two people could crash. He was ok with one, and Quandary has secured his spot, so there is still one other crashing space that is possible. Have to double check with the roomie to make sure he'd be ok with two extra though, so no promises.

I plan on being at PaizoCon for the whole thing, my train arrives at the 9pm range on the 11th and my return trip will be leaving around 9am on the 15th. Odds are, like a lot of us, I'll be in a room for a modest amount of time. Clean up, wardrobe changes, and storage of stuff and sleeping self. ;) Thus, I'd be cool with a bed or a cot.

FYI...in a stunning last second development, I've made a decision to forego GenCon this year and head to Seattle for PaizoCon. I've purchased my badge, but haven't yet made a room or flight reservation. Splitting the cost of a double-occupancy wouldn't be a bad budgetary decision. If you still need a roommate, Robert, let me know. I'm also all four nights. And, though we've never met, I believe we have some mutual friends on LiveJournal.

We've got Robert, but someone else contacted me about it and (hopefully) will post here soon.
It'll be good to see you there!
I've been gotten, cool; however I think it would be more special if it would have been by a pair of ladies. *chuckles*
Seriously, though, I'm much appreciative of the roomie option I got and hope everyone else is as lucky.

![]() |

No problem. I've got a double-occupancy room booked. If anyone's in dire need of a place to crash and can split the room cost with me for a 4-night stay, it's available. Otherwise, I'll hold it down on my own...

Now we just need to get you drunk enough to stand in your doorway, with a cardboard axe, shouting, "It's mah room and Ah'll hold it, ua puny things!!" at like 3 in the morning on the next to last day of the con.

Ummm...as great as that sounds and all...I...ummm...well, I think I'd rather avoid that scene entirely. ;-D

Yo dudes... I am seriously considering going to Seattle this year. I was hoping to fly in on Thursday the 11th as well and fly out (I'z hoping anyways) on Monday... The 15th is it?
I'm a 40 year old male and woe unto you all, I do snore on occasion FYI.
Looking for roomies who are reasonably responsible... I do need to catch a few Z's as I am hoping to attend as many of the workshops as humanly possible. But being in a new city surrounded by gamers has some potential of late night sessions of chewing the fat. At any rate, I hope to be there. If anybody is interested drop me a line... I too have a Live Journal account under greengrunt2.

Update-
I just bought the tickets this morning to the Con and am in the process of buying flight tickets... Anybody know if SeaTac Airport provides a shuttle service to the hotel??
Gahhh... Moot point really as I will have to call and check things out anyway.
This three hour time difference is crizzap... Or is it...4? I dwellest on the East Coast.

You can take the Shuttle Express service, but it's best if you make a reservation with them. They cycle multiple shuttles through the airport and then drop off at multiple hotels. It's $19 from the airport to the Bellevue hotel, one-way. You should make your flight reservations first, note your flight number and arrival/departure times, and then call them to reserve a pick-up time coming and going.
If you don't want to do the shuttle, there's also limo service you could split with others for less than $19. And there's a bus someone mentioned that takes longer to get to the Bellevue and drops off about a half-mile away, I believe. So you'd still need to hoof it a bit, but it's an even cheaper transport method.

It's 3 hours.
Hope that helps,
