Simple question! As I'm hoping to get all six Pathfinder products sent in one order next month, does that mean you'll pack them all in one of your boxes, rather then the cardboard envelope? I ask as I've discovered that those boxes are rather good at storing all my Pathfinder books. :D

I can't (or rather won't) really answer definitively whether or not your next shipment will be in a box or not. I mean... it probably will be, but I can't really make any guarantees.

However, here's how the process works: When the items for a particular shipment come into our warehouse, Warehouse Jeff will look at the various combinations and permutations of shipments, and determine how each will be shipped. Generally, if a shipment can go in an envelope, it will, since this is cheaper shipping method than a box and the decision will affect ALL of the subscription shipments in that class. However we definitely keep an eye for safety and security of the shipments, as a wrong decision will result in a lot of replacements and this cuts directly into any savings we make from sending in an envelope.

Therefore while I can pretty reliably predict that your order will go in a box, it is really up to Jeff and whatever call he makes when he is actually holding the physical items. We can (and do) make predictions based on how big we expect the books to be, but nothing compares to having the books in your hands.

Thanks,
cos

Well.. that's to differentiate him from the other Jeff, whose parents called their kid "Big Boss".

Truth.

Uzzy, Just get a planet stories subscription, I almost *never* get an envelope anymore.....

This is true, actually. Planet Stories books do not fit in the envelopes, so if there's one in your shipment, then you are almost guaranteed to get your subscription shipment in a box.
