Scarab Sages

Hey is there anyway we could actually get the Spoiler tags to say something besides SPOILER?

In my character sheets I like to use spoilers to break up my gear in containers

If it could Say BACKPACK instead of Spoiler that would be sooooo awesome!

like a ]SPOILER:Backpack{ so it would then have Backpack as the listed spoiler, or even if that could replace the Show text, it would be nice.

It would also be great if for GMing and having a spoiler that was for a specific character. ]SPOILER:Xaaon[

Is there any way you could implement that or is it a coding nightmare?

I Just go:

Backpack:

Spoiler:
<ooc>Backpack:<spoiler>Hello!</spoiler></ooc>

Works for me.....Though you way me be a bit prettier.

Yeah, that's what I already do, except the ooc tag will help get the extra line spacing outta there...that'll help a little.

Lol, hadn't even noticed that!

Heh, and here I thought you were some genius that had tweaked it until you got that to work, LoL.

Any word from the Board guru on this?

Nice thread necro.

Well, for anyone who wonders, the spoiler tag can now be used to say whatever you like instead of purely "spoiler".

Such as:

There's nothing here:

<told you>

Simply write "spoiler=XX" instead of just "spoiler".

Backpack:

This backpack contains MAXIMISED EXPLOSIVE RUNES!

Alright, mighty Necrotic. It's me, HTML Noob. I am seeking your mighty counsel on how to write these fantastic spoiler tags. I need your sage wisdom.

Or anyone's. How the heck do I write one of these things?

Look four posts above this one and read.

Edit: Ok to be fair that's not completely clear. Like this-

Spoiler:

Do this, but remove the " marks.

["spoiler=Whatever You Want Spoiler to Say]

[/spoiler"]

Underneath the text area in which you type a reply, there is a button labeled "How to format your text". If you click that it will show you the proper syntax for spoilers, dice, lists, etc.
