It's not just you. Usually the problem is the servers getting overloaded and taking forever to generate the response to your request. (This is the pause before the page even starts to load.) Once the page starts to load normally it's fast. Since yesterday the problem has been that the response is generated quickly, but the page itself and the graphics on it take a long time to load. I think this is indicative of networking problems upstream from Paizo (possibly at our ISP or their backbone), and Vic is looking into it.

If you got the "nostore" page, that's the servers getting overloaded. I think I've mostly got it fixed so that a) that doesn't happen nearly as often as it used to, and b) when it does happen they can usually recover themselves without (too much) manual intervention.
(Note that there are actually several different types of servers involved, each with its own individual failure modes, and I'm simplifying.)

A few days ago, I had the "nostore" page for several hours. Since about yesterday, the site responds slower than usual, and I tried to download the building instructions for the new worldworks/pathfinder thing - the speed was abysmal, and it failed several times. I thought this was due to high serverload.
Stefan
Edit: Just trying to download again - speed is a little better, but still crawling along at 6 to 12 kb/s - feels like back in the day when I had a dial-up connection...

The whole Internet was slow for me yesterday, It is fine now.. I thought it was My ISP here in Germany, but it may have been something larger...
Maybe there is a Shadow Cyber War going on, with the future of the Internet in the Balance!!!

Well, whether it was feeding the gerbils, or your Post Monsterly powers, the site is definitely now moving better here in Southern Cal :)
Wasn't me, I was busy making a new TV antenna out of coat hangers. But you're right, it does seem to be loading faster now. Maybe a new batch of gerbils just went on shift.

Nah, it is all the extra bandwith that has been freed up since the Beta ended. :)

It's okay. You just have to bend the hangers at right angles, so it looks more cyber!
No, I got an Internet Explorer “cannot find server” message.
That's your computer telling you to stop torturing it with that thing and get a browser. May I suggest Opera, but Firefox will work in a pinch.

No, I got an Internet Explorer “cannot find server” message. I hopped onto the chatroom and a couple of people there said they couldn’t get onto the site either.
That was me. One of our routers was having issues; I gave it the old what-for. Some of the responsiveness issues were related to that, but not all of them, because we were seeing issues with servers that aren't part of this network.
