Blood War, Huh, Who Is That Good For?

Now I think we're definitely looking down the barrel of V saying those right four words, though I'm still questionable if it's for all the wrong reasons.

Considering how V. got there, absolutely. If he hadn't been so ridiculously pigheaded, she would have had help against the dragon, or other resources to get to his family first.

Considering the three evils referred to V as "Mr." I think we can fairly safely assume V is male.

But why would V say, "I choose you, Pikachu!"? I don't understand.

Burlew must have caught and fixed that, because the two times they directly adress V now, they call him/her/it "mortal" and "Elf," respectively.

It's in #631. "I'll get right on that, Mr. Elf, sir."

Yeah I just rechecked and found in again in 631, second panel, spoke by the Imp...

So it's there, I just misattributed it, sorry.

Well, I certainly thought V's "other parent" was pretty feminine-looking, at least in hairstyle (and maybe clothing I think).

I was likewise just talking with a friend and fellow OOTS fan that we might be coming to that point, as a few days ago I was cruising old OOTS strips and came upon the oracle strip, which I had mostly forgotten about, save for the delicious twist of Roy's tragically specific question, which is still one of my favorite OOTS moments ever.

(my absolute favorite, though, is when Roy meets his little brother in heaven... tear)

Mine too! That was so sweet!!

I think the imp was being sarcastic; I don't think it is neccessarily an admission of V's gender. Rich has said he never planned to reveal that..We'll just have to wait and see.

Ah. I'd missed that one myself, then :)
