I downloaded my copy of the beta PDF about 9 months ago(give or take) and am curious about something. I am about to make some characters for a few friends so we can play a quick game this coming weekend and am wondering if the Beta PDF get's updated with any errata or rules changes? I guess what I am asking in a nutshell is should I download a new copy since it has been so long?
If any changes occur then to me the answer is yes. So I am looking for some feedback/Input.
Thank you,
UpS

Yes, you'll want to download it again because they do put out newer versions. The last version I downloaded had each chapter as a separate pdf file.

Another question. Are we legally allowed to have printed and bound our copy of the beta PDF? And yes I do realize we can't sell or plagiarize, I would be doing it for ease of reference at the game table.
If you can afford it, you can also buy the Beta book (by order or in a store), so you'll give some support to Paizo.

Only if he can find it. Even amazon's apparently out.
If it were available, I'd have recommended buying it - not just to support Paizo, but to save money. It's likely that you end up paying more to have it printed than buying the book - especially if you want colour printouts.
The price for the beta was quite low, and they made little if any profit with it. It was more a fan service (one that didn't involve nekkid characters) really.
But yeah: If you can find a copy (you don't have to sell your firstborn for), by all means get that!

I didn't realize there was a paper copy of the beta rules. I have been out of the loop for a very longtime but its good to be back.
As a question if I do end up getting it printed where do I point to to say that I am legally allowed to print the PDF for my own use? I mean where is the legal disclaimer giving me permission in the PDF?
The PDF says it is secured etc and I am not sure if that will make most print places nervous about printing it out.

Your PDF file should have a watermark with your name and email at the top and bottom of the page. That should answer most questions whether you have permission to print. Also, most companies such as Kinko's will print one copy for you. they just get nervous when you go asking for a quantity of prints.
Just my 2 cp.
