Actually, 25 & 26 haven't been announced yet and weren't part of an open call. Josh said in the blog yesterday that they were assigned. Our Lady of Silver and Lyrics of Extinction are 27 & 28 respectively. We also don't know if Demon Haunts the Devil's Hall will be released when originally intended because they weren't able to find a writer through the open call, which lasted twice as long because people were given a second try.

Really?

I thought that Joshua couldn't find a 'wow' entry. No second chances were given to my knowledge.

Right, lets give this a new try since the sodding software won't let me edit my post.

Perhaps I'm wrong on the second chance thing, but I do remember him saying that it would be assigned to someone for later in the season. Could be that it's still going to be released in the same spot, but it could also be one the two for Origins.

Speaking of which, I don't believe Paizo will be at Origins, so those four scenarios might be released instead as part of PaizoCon which is also in June.

True, Paizo won't be there. Josh will, however, be there organizing Pathfinder Society events. This from a post by him.

Yes, I will either be organizing and running PFS myself at Origns or I will be working with The Gathering to run PFS. Origins, unfortunately, is still very much up in the air. All I know for sure is that I'll be there.

I should also add that there may be some surprise scenarios also run at Gen Con as exclusives. Consider that a teaser as the plans aren't yet finalized. :-)

Cheers for the update, Josh. I'll put that one up at our local Society wiki if that's ok by you.

Sure. It's public info. :-)

any of these planned for the first night possibly? it looks like that might be the only night I'm going to make it to GenCon :(

Yep.

Dammit! And might any of these be planned for Friday night or Saturday for those of us who aren't allowed by our employers to take any vacation days in August?

I would guess so, they are traditionally better attended nights, I believe.

Unsure at this time.

Is there still chance to send maps and/or scenarios? even if open calls are not ... well open?

No. I'll have no capacity for unsolicited submissions once the open calls temporarily close for the transition.

However maps from the open call for mappers (which it is closed *cry*) could one if really nice maps are created send them to james etc.?

I'm not involved with the map open call. That's all James Jacobs.

Paizo Employee Creative Director

The open call for maps is closed; I got in over 100 maps, and haven't had a chance to really look at and reply to 95% of them yet. If I get through them and still need more mappers, I'll do another open call (and if the project works out I might do an open call again), but the current map open call is closed.

Of course, tenacious mappers can still send me maps, but since the open call is closed, I might not reply... they'd have to be REALLY cool to get a reply at this point, is what I'm saying.

So they'd have to be the lair of some dinosaur that is friends with demons......

James is pretty much done with demons and dinosaurs now. He likes mustache-shaped dungeons ...

I'll try my best.

Regarding Season 0 scenarios (or scenarios in general): Will they remain available in later seasons, or will they be retired after the season is completed? IOW, should I buy the files of season 0 until July, because they will be no longer available after GenCon?

Stefan

We endeavor to never retire scenarios. What we will do for season 0, though, is release a one-page errata sheet that you can refer to in order to make calculations on the fly to make changes to the 3.5 scenarios while playing PRPG with a season 0 scenario.

Thank you for the answer. And making an errata is obviously a good idea for further use of the season 0 scenarios.

Would it be possible to get Tiers for these? My playgroup is rapidly approaching level 6, and we'd like to know how soon we're going to lose access to mods (i.e., how many of the upcoming mods are for Tier 1-5 only).

The Exchange 5/5 Regional Venture-Coordinator, Mediterranean

I've been getting the information on the tiers of forthcoming scenarios to help planning of PaizoCon UK. Hopefully Josh won't mind me posting up this information I got from him recently.

Though the stars give a hint whether or not we liked them. :)

Ummm if episode 20 is 7-11 how are people going to play it? The highest level you could be at that time is 6th.

You can be 7th level after 18 scenarios.

2nd level @ 3xp, 3rd @ 6xp, 4th @ 9xp, 5th @ 12xp, 6th @ 15xp, 7th @ 18xp

Josh any update on what is happening with Origins?

I have not seen anything on that topic in a while

A group called The Gathering (who organizes a lot of the organized play activities at Origins) is organizing and running Pathfinder Society at Origins. I'll post additional details (such as volunteering to GM for them) once I have them all. I will be in attendance most likely GMing and helping The Gathering folks muster PFS.

I want them all; and I want them now!

Or at least a heads up on when to expect them, it's already the 28th!
