Shout Out! Props on the Improved Half Elf

Just want to say i am very happy with the new Half Elf. Seems on par with the rest of the races. My wife loves Half Elfs, and we redid her Pathfinder Society Ranger as a Pathfinder RPG Ranger. Seems to be a lot of fun. I don't mind the rise in power of the classes, it just make them more fun if the rest is balanced.

Keep it up guys! Seems to be the 3.5 successor we wanted!

I also think that the PRPG half-elf is dramatically better than the 3.0 and 3.5 versions. It could still probably use a tiny boost, but it's playable for a person who cares about their character's rolls as well as roles now ;) (aside from the Diplomancer, of course - that was always viable, even if not desirable)

The only thing I feel he is lacking is a Weapon Familiarity entry. Overall, it's a good improvement.

It seems to me like the Half-Elf is probably a slightly better choice than Human whenever you were going to take Skill Focus as a feat anyways and don't need more skill points for something specific. This is a vast improvement over it's status in 3.5, where it was never a better choice than anything, ever.

Still, I'd like to see it get a - little - bit more of a boost.

There's some word that Half-elves will be able to choose two favored classes.

I've been giving them a +2 racial bonus to Diplomacy, maybe even a +3 with the folding in of Gather Information to Diplomacy. It's just a limited bonus, but like most people have said, they don't really need a whole lot.

As for their fellow mixed heritage brothers, Pathfinder Half-Orcs... well, I still think they should get Intimidating Prowess as a bonus feat.
