Firearms are in the 3.5 DMG, why are they not in the Pathfinder RPG? They do exist in Pathfinder CS...so...uh...what's the deal?

Just because firearms aren't present in the document doesn't mean they've been excluded; anything not present in the beta document is to be considered unchanged from the 3.5 rules, and should be included in the final document when it goes to print.

Not to mention that they are currently listed in the campaign setting, along with a lot of other Golarian-exclusive weapons that don't appear in the Beta.

Well I hope they end up in the Pathfinder RPG, since it will be considered the new Base...and throw the SRD away...which is why even though they're in the CS they need to appear in the RPG as well...

And in the CS they're a bit more expensive as well...if memory serves.
