Is Elemental an inclusive language or not?

Skills and Feats

I have not found where this is addressed. If there is already a thread please remove this one or move it.

I have a player that wants to chose Elemental as one of his languages his PC speaks and understands. My question is, does Elemental include the languages of all elementals?

In 3.x each elemental had its own language. Is that still the case in Pathfinder?

Just my 2 cp. Thoughts?

Liberty's Edge

What? Does Sean want to talk to our campfire or my waterskin now? ;)

He told me that if he had to pick one it would be Auran. I guess he wants to chat with the thoughts running through his PC's head.

However, he did make a good point. Under the Dwarf racial entry their bonus languages lists Elemental as one of the languages. So I wanted to know if it included all of them or not.

Why Auran? So he can talk to the element of Air since his DMs seem to be full of so much hot air. :-D

I just picked Elemental and did not realize there were more than one language. In the Beta book I did not see more than one listed and it looked like it was just grouped together as one language. Dwarf racial bonus language is Elemental. Guess they meant for it be (Elemental) - Terran. :P

I really only saw this because I was doing that programming for RPGX

Liberty's Edge

Well, it is an interesting point, and one that does need to be settled for the program.

But I do like busting y'all's chops now and again ;)

I vote for separate languages.

If we play Shadowrun, and Sean is a hacker with languages (computer), does that constitute LARPing?

The dice aren't loaded, China just threatened to feed them to Puff if they didn't act right...

That will do it every time.
