It's not clear whether non-weapon, non-armour pieces of equipment come in various sizes. Is there such a thing as a Small spell component bag? Or a Small backpack? Or a Small vial of acid?
(Yes, I know it's not a big deal, but it's something I've seen come up before.)
I do believe for that most items there are smaller versions. Vials are for potions, flasks for acid... I think those are the same no matter what. The equipment tables at Crystalkeep.com have different sizes for storage, so I'd assume so.
*note those tables were compiled from a wizards.com article.

Most stuff I would just use my common sense: "no" to Small spell component pouches and tanglefoot bags, and "yes" to Small backpacks and climbing kits, for instance. But once I saw a request for a Small vial of acid that does 1d4 damage (instead of 1d6). There's enough logic to that request (it's a Small weapon, isn't it?) that I wasn't sure what the best answer was.
