Hi all, I'm very interested in participating in a PbP 4E game. I DM a game in real life and haven't really had a chance to play 4th Edition.
I'm open to any type of campaign using the 4E D&D rules set.

Can you give us the skinny on character creation so we can go ahead and get a character ready?
Pt Buy? Array? Starting Level? Starting Gold? Sources (PHB, MM, FRCG, FRPG, Martial Power, Draconimicon, Dungeon/Dragon Magazine?) to draw from?

Sounds good! I am going to play a Gnoll Ranger with Archery Style.
Don't get too attached to that concept - I may disallow some of the 'bad-guy' races. ;D

Depending on the campaign details, this might finally be the place to bring back Hetta Smallbrow (as a halfling beatmaster ranger). She'd have to have a STR above 6, but I think the personality could work. And I've never played a striker.
Don't get too attached to that concept - I may disallow some of the 'bad-guy' races. ;D

as a side note, i might actually be coming around to 4E a little. Fabes, if you don't have any others banging down the door, I might throw my chip in for a swordmage or genasi (or both)...

Ah, well. The beastmaster ranger is a melee class, so she'd have to have a decent STR. But she can still be sweet and naive and have a dog!

We got ourselves a party. Albeit I still need to decide level and whatnot. I do like the idea of Hetta coming back. Maybe Gobi too?
gobi could possibly be making a return, depending on whether or not I get him back into rev's game. I do miss the fella
We may also have Healaugh from Treasure Hunt appear. That would be fun - a party of characters who have departed other games!
Rosey and I have often muttered that the games we DM seem to have a similar 'feel' to one another and that there could be a sort of shared world there.
I'm just trying to find an adventure to run... but I am almost certain that the setting will be mostly the generic set-up of 4E, and set in the Korrin Archipelago (as seen in my Treasure Hunt game) - a sort of Celtic/Anglo-Saxon style vibe.
Consider me in. Healaugh (if he survives) will be among those present. Probably as a bard.
I'm leaning against Hetta as a beastmaster. It just does too much violence to the concept to build her as a melee character.
Still may be interested in Beastmaster, just a different one.
I can't figure out how many have expressed an interest yet, but, if Ynyr survives Treasure Hunt, and if there is still a space, I feel he could go on to this with Healaugh - possibly as an artificer which is all he ever wanted to be anyway.
