I'm not sure the prerequisite for this feat needs to be BAB +9. That seems too high. Improved Critical is a better choice IMO, and it's prerequisites are proficiency in the weapon, and BAB +8. The SRD version: Power Critical has the prerequisites Weapon Focus in the weapon and BAB +4.

Power Critical is an SRD feat? Funny, I don't see it listed ... can you link to it?
It makes much more sense to me to take Improved Critical before Critical Focus. Since Improved Critical doubles your chances of threatening, it also doubles the number of occurrences when you actually get to use Critical Focus. In other words, Critical Focus is only half as useful when you don't have Improved Critical (or a keen weapon, but that's another argument).

I completely agree with this. In practice, I also would take Improved Critical before Critical Focus, even if Critical Focus had lower prerequisites. I'm simply pointing out that IMO, the power level Critical Focus doesn't warrant such a high BAB.
