KEJR's Playtest Observations: Lawful Barbarian Rage?

Classes: Barbarian, Fighter, and Ranger

The player running a Shoanti paladin lost his paladin abilities due to becoming NG instead of LG. Upon gaining a level, instead of receiving an atonement spell, he decided to explore his "wild side" and take a level of barbarian.

I mentioned that if he decided to become "more lawful" or get the atonement, he would loose his rage ability, but then we looked in the rage description, and we never found any comment that barbarians that become lawful can no longer rage.

So, I'm wondering, is this an omission, or a purposeful change? As it stands, if the paladin receives his atonement, he would still have his ability to rage, which is something I've never seen actively combined with paladin abilities before.
