I've seen much sentiment that most skills don't "hold up" against Perception & Acrobatics
(and ones appropriate to certain classes like Stealth/Survival/Spellcraft)
I thought one way to enhance the Craft Skills (beyond's the Master Craftsman, which is great!)
would say that when using Appraise (including w/ Detect Magic/ Identify),
you can add your Craft Skill to your Appraise Skill, if Identifying an Item appropriate to your Craft Skill.
Thoughts?
As well, Should crafting Spears also be governed by Craft(Bows)?
They seem more related to Arrow construction than Swords/Glaives/etc. It would work better for Barbarian types to know how to make Spears & Bows&Arrows but NOT 'civilized' Weapons (and maybe it should also cover clubs and the like)
Likewise, why not Craft(Leather) covering Leather/Hide Armors as well as saddles, tents, etc.
(Craft:Weapons could still cover Spears, they would just be shared between the two categories...)
