I was just thinking, is it just me or does PDnD feats, while more useful alone, are not by any means as good to the originals due to now taking actual actions rather than automatic? Cleave and Great Cleave now take up a standard and full action which means you can't perform ether at the end of a charge, Dodge takes a swift action, and I am sure there are many more. This power down doesn't stop there as feats that remain free or constant, with exception of skill bonus feats and HP, ether are gimped to super specialization (combat expertise), or have the mechanical bonus halved (Improved Combat Maneuvers).
Maybe I am just being bitter with all the feats I like to take being power down. Can I get some other opinions here please?

I have a tendency to agree. For instance - I really like the idea of the armored mage feats, but why do they ruin your ability to case quickened spells???
I think that reasoning, though, is because you can get more feats that before. Though, it still seems very much in favor of the fighter who gets twice as many feats as everyone else.

lets not forget the magic items that activate on swift actions, and the class abilities too, such as almost all the rage powers.
