[SKILL] - Spellcraft Untrained?

Skills and Feats

I looked to see if this had been addressed already or not and I couldn't find it, at least not in the skill & feat board.

Why is Spellcraft UNTRAINED in Beta? Is this an accident or does it serve some sort of purpose?

sorceres might understand what they are doing without training

AND its used instead of concentration

Well, it was made untrained due to Concentration's roll into it, however that will probably change when that function gets moved out.

Sorcerers get spellcraft as a class skill, as does every other class with any spellcasting ability(likely psions as well).

The Fighter, Barbarian, Rogue & Monk have absolutely no reason to concentrate on anything at all, but now have the ability to identify spells as they are being cast.

*shrug* It's not a big deal, just seems odd to me.

Yea, though in our play test the other day it was rather ammusing to realize that the Barbarian, by a simple die roll, had figured the spell out that the poor Sorcerer couldn't with skill points because his die roll was so poor. Up with Barbarians...give them the Sorcerer spell list and get out of their way...
