I've seen a lot of posts on this board mention the Wizard's spell-like abilities, but to my knowledge they were gone. A leftover from Alpha. Is this not true?
Relevant bits, emphasis mine:
Pathfinder Beta pg. 194
"The DC for any save is equal to 10 + the spell's level + the caster's Charisma modifier. Arcane school powers that mimic spells are spell-like abilities, while the others are supernatural.
In addition to these abilities, each school also grants a number of bonus spells. Whenever a wizard attains the listed level, he can choose one spell from his school to prepare every day as a bonus spell."
I had thought someone mentioned the text about spell-like abilities being accidentally left over, and that they had been removed from the Beta. As the Power lists only contain Supernatural spells, this seems to be the case. The whole 'bonus spells at even levels', according to the quote, appear to be something different entirely and are actually separately prepared spells, so the saves would use the int modifier.
On a second note, if an Illusionist chooses Minor Image as his '1st level bonus spell' (the one that he can prepare once per 2 caster levels), can he ever change it? The text kind of implies it, but I am not sure.
Thanks!
