Rogue-Better than a fighter??

Classes: Bard, Monk, and Rogue

Since one of the things a Rogue can do is take a combat feat at every level, does this make a rogue perhaps better than a figher since the rogue gets sneak attack and such?

Sigh, Jason has already covered this, you can only take 1 combat feat as a talent. That combat feat is a talent and each talent can only be taken once.

Beyond that a fighter's damage is sustained, the rogue has to find away to get sneak attack in, not always possible. Also with the fighter's BAB being better than the rogue the rogue is going to miss more often, especially if he is TWFing, meaning less overall damage.

And besides, EVERYONE is better than a 3e fighter, except maybe a 3e monk or paladin. That's why many of us are frantically working on feat rewrites and new feats to make melee classes viable again.
