Becuase people didn't realise you had two different links... they just saw the one for the actual game to start... and without any exp or anything yet, why discuss the game 5 posts into it?
By the way, I'm going to start posing Elijah's spoken words in bold and his thoughts in italics to help keep them seperate.

I think I misread something, did the serpent laugh or did I?
I was under the impression that it was the serpent...
Also what sort of slither is it? The "Get to the Target!" slither, or the "Holy S4@t! Protect me mommy from the strangers!" slither?
Are we talking a really fast movement or just a "hey I know that person," Mosey?

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up - I will be on vacation in Florida from Dec 23rd to Jan 7th. I should still be able to post, but it will likely be reduced in frequency (I'm still hoping 1/day, though). If anything starts to get held up, feel free to DMPC me.
So what part of FL were you in, you were in my homestate after all.

Hell, I may do that too, just to spite winter ...

Hey I don't want to be a rules lawyer, but how is Abraham smiting twice per day at first level? I thought we were only allowed to use the beta and MM3 for feats for our characters, extra smiting isn't in either of those? Did I miss something where you said we had access to more books for feats? If not since he got one feat from an outside source can I also get one? Cause I would love to get Jump Kick from the Complete warrior, it allows extra damage as part of a charge.

He's playtesting the paladin from the playtest boards.
I'm very much aware of that, I was on the paladin threads for the entirety of the discussion even several weeks after the discussion closed. Jason said he was considering adding extra smiting but was concerned that the changes to smite would make it too powerful, then the feat section rolled around and he didn't add extra smiting to the list of new feats to playtest. Also the new smite doesn't add extra rounds till level eight.
If you're allowing him to have the feat I have no problem with it, I just think it'd be cool to allow us all to have one non-beta feat since he got one.it's your call.

From the gamer connection page
You may use material from PHB2(but not the new classes) and spells/feats from Complete Arcane/Warior/Divine if you want.

Guess I can change Lashara's spells around after we camp/sleep in an inn.

Can't help myself
from here.
So I'll just ignore this conversation and watch as it falls to the bottom of the thread with the whopping 10 posts it has.
Dude, burn. Now at 198 posts!

Yes but if you notice all 180 were about how wrong he was and how he was an ass to me :) after like a month I checked it out. still it's not like the conversation took off it was really more of a argue about being burned discussion then an effort to discuss healing at range.

Sorry about that Bryan, but I couldn't resist the chance for good role-play. Nice description of what demons do by the way. :)

Hey, no problem ... I always enjoy a little inter-party conflict. More realistic than the "we just met an hour ago, but we're the bestest of friends" stereotype. So long as no one's knifing each other in the back, it's all fun!

Someone please refresh my memory ... lesser vigor does what, exactly?
It gives you fast healing one for 10+1/per caster level. These are caster level 1 potions. If you are dying you auto stabilize. This spell does not restore hp lost from starvation, thirst, or suffocation nor does it regrow lost bodyparts. Multiple aplications do not stack but the effect of the first spell is extended by the duration of the second apliccation.

I've got to admit I was hoping for a chance to see someone actually role-play there character instead of saying "Sehkola hits Lashara." That just gets so boring after a while.

Concerning the hammer, we'll use beta. Concerning xp, use 3.5.
That's what I'm saying the beta doesn't clarify. They use the word "break", the word break doesn't neccessarily mean that the broken condition is applied since by the condition it states that whenever a weapon takes damage and by the spell nothing takes damage unless it's crystalline, it could easily mean the weapon is destroyed, in this instance it comes down to DM adjudication as to whether you interpret the word break to mean apply the broken condition or to mean the weapon is destroyed. also if you want we can move this to the OTD discusion, I'll repost it there.
And relooking at the spell in fact it says that it Sunders (not even breaks) a single solid non-magical item. and so we have to check the only other place in the rules where the word sunder is clarified. there it deals with damage, but the spell deals no damage. So the closest I think it can come to is to replicate the effect of dealing max damage to the weapon in that instance the person who cast the spell can choose whether to break (i.e. the broken condition) or destroy the item targeted. So the question is do you think they would have chosen to leave him with a slightly damaged hammer or a completely shattered stump.
Not to be a rules lawyer but since this is still something we can report in the playtest threads I think it's important to deal with these kind of issues as they arise. so that hopefully clarification can be reached.
