There's a bit of Thassilonian history in the Varisia writeup that has always intrigued me, namely the existence of a sunken continent in Golaria just off the Varisian coast. That's Old Azlant.
And I might be writing a sunken continent adventure that works there. It's called "Lords of Lost Arbonesse", and I discuss it over on the Open Design forum.
If you would be interested in that sort of adventure (with a pulp Cthulhu twist), please go vote for it in the poll over there. It would be the first attempt at a Pathfinder licensed adventure, and I'm curious to hear how much support it would have.

Wait a minute. Paizo's finally developed some sorta license for 3PPs? Is there a logo, too?
Well, they have mentioned that a license will be available later, presumably when the game ships in August. That could be just a license/logo for the mechanics (extremely like, given that it is OGL-derived). It might also allow some licensed material in the Golarion setting, or I might be able to negotiate a license for that.
Given the time required to write one, it's certainly not too early for me to start thinking about a Pathfinder support adventure. And even if the setting stays off-limits, I can certainly write a "sunken city" adventure that would fit very neatly into Golarion or into someone's homebrew game.

This is better than a wet dream!
I'll go vote!
Holy Peacock Spirit!
With Krome on our side this can't lose!
Speaking of which, the possibilities could be incredible. In the Open Design format, Wolfgang could expand on concepts, like the Peacock Spirit that have only been lightly touched upon!
This idea has been cross posted in this thread.

And remember, the Paizo says no, don't begrudge them. It might be too soon for them. That doesn't mean that the project might not see light in a different way (like an in-house with Wolfgang in the traditional freelancer role).

SO, what ya think, Wolfie? Up to a REAL challenege? Nature of the Lost Angels of Arbonesse sounds like a GREAT title to me... besides it adds a new twist to Azlant...
