Drivish, the aura at the beginning of your turn missed; you can go again -- full defense? Rin is, I believe, partway down the rope and blasting. What are Fargrim and Barshevy doing? Waiting for Rin to blast more? Rin, why don't you spoiler a few more sets of rolls?

Sorry for the delay; crazy couple of days -- will summarize rather than narrate just so this happens.
Drivish: aura misses, total defense
Snakes: miss
Rin: blasts, hits Drivish -6hp, destroys snakes 2
Lafiel: miss
Drivish: Snake aura hits -6hp, poison -5hp, ongoing 2 (save ends) Drivish is bloodied. GM executive decision: Drivish takes second wind (which helps defenses, of course) Drivish -- throw a save.
Snakes: Hit Drivish -10hp, no fresh poison. Drivish is bloodied again.
Rin: blasts, hit Drivish -8hp, hurt snakes 1 badly
Lafiel: Hit, bloodying snakes.
Drivish: Snake aura hits -5hp, no poison. Drivish:
Ok, need a response from Drivish.

Drivish takes the onslaught stoically, but finally puts up his hand to stop Rin. Unfortunately, before he can step away he falls forward.

Lafiel helps the party members get into the side tunnel she's in, but warns them not to wander too deep into the cave, as the snake wraiths are there. After everyone is up, she takes a short rest as well.
Lafiel is 24/29 and 1 surge left. We could camp for a long rest after we finish fighting in the next room, as it's easily defendable (2 small exits).

Qadim-sul will change back to his Windsoul manifestation during the rest.
Qadim-sul claps Drivish on the shoulder. "What's the matter, old son, don't want to jump in there on your own again? I don't blame you - I believe I'll take up the rear. Perhaps Lafiel would like to go back down first? Or the priest, so he can heal whoever's next if more snakes come out."

"Sorry, Qadim-sul, I thought it was your turn to get the stuffing beaten out of you, considering Fargrim and I have already left our blood on the cave floor." Then Drivish laughs, "Be careful holding the rope. I don't know if Barshevy brought any salve for ropeburns."

Fargrim:
You make it through the tunnel to a cave. A simple stone altar, encrusted with the gore of ancient sacrifices, dominates the small cave. An enormous serpent is curled about the shadowy base of the stone, and a peculiar wooden staff is laid across the head of the altar before a common copper basin. The air is unusually cold here, and the shadows persistent, as if resistant to light.
