I can't find any rules for it off-hand. It's not a normal grab, as he's actually in the cube's space (all of the pink is the cube's space. For now, I'll rule that he gets a save when the cube is attacked, and if he fails he takes half the damage the cube does (in addition to the cube taking the full damage). For speed purposes, the attacker should roll the save for him.
Rin, note that that was a crit (and getting a rope out is a minor action).
Rin Lyulfsson
Rin manages to target his attack so that the cube take the full brunt of the blast and Fargrim takes no damage.
Save v damage to Fargrim (1d20=17). Can't believe I missed seeing it was a crit. 9 damage to Mr Cube then, and it's slowed until the end of Rin's next turn.
Barshevy
Minor Action : I cast Healing Word on Fargrim. If he's 20 ft. below me, the close burst range of 5 (25 ft.) should be able to reach him.
So that's 7 hp in addition to your healing surge, Fargrim.
Major Action : I cast Lance of Faith (Wis. vs. Ref) on the ooze.
If I hit, add +2 power bonus to Fargrim's next attack roll.
In case the DM rules that Fargrim must make a save to avoid damage, here it is:
Qadim-sul
"By the storm clouds of Ashelon!" Qadim-sul exclaims as Fargrim falls into the gelatinous cube. He immediately jumps off the arch, floating to the ground next to the sinking dwarf. Fumbling for his rope, he extends his arm. "Fargrim, grab my hand!"
Move action: windwalker, fly to H-14. Minor action: retrieve rope.
I'd like to help Fargrim from the cube, if possible, spending an action point to take a standard action to aid another.
And since I'm down there, do I get hit by Barshevy's healing word too? Or does it just affect one person?

Qadim-sul lands gracefully at H-14 and tosses Fargrim a rope. Roll an aid another, either STR or Athletics, whichever is better.
At the moment the genasi touches down, however, there is a change back to chanting, followed by a rattling noise from around the room. Several armed skeletons arise on the middle levels and attack with shortbows.
Qadim-sul takes 6hp; Rin takes 6hp; Lafiel takes 3hp
Init after the skeletons. Keep your old rolls if you're keeping your old actions, so Fargrim is still in the cube, having taken 10 acid at the beginning of this turn, but Barshevy can revise his healing word (which, yes, only affects one).

A few questions : I don't get an OA on s3, even though it's under me, right ?
* No, it's 20' down, well out of reach.
What happens if I want to jump down on it ?
* Good question. Sounds like DEX vs. Reflex. Off the top of my head, I'd say you both take the falling damage if you hit (yours reduced by Acrobatics). Comments welcome.
Do I get CA if I attack it with a ranged weapon ?
* Depends on the source of CA; you can't flank with a ranged weapon.
In addition, what are the rules about attacking anything lower than us using melee
* As long as it's within 5' in every dimension, you can reach it.
ranged weapons ?
* No mods, as far as I know.
Rin Lyulfsson
"Ow! Enough already." Rin spins on one outraged heel and zaps a ray of cold at skeleton 9.
"Sorry Fargrim old boy, we'll soon have you out of there," he calls, "hopefully, anyway." he adds under his breath.
Being used as a pincushion by skeletons is very offputting. He's going to concentrate on taking them down while the folks with actual strength bonuses haul Fargrim out. Always a shame to waste a crit, but it can't be helped. Damaging the cube is going to take time, hopefully the skellies are minions and will go down fast.

Fargrim struggles in the cube's grasp, but does not manage to escape. Rin, meanwhile, starts picking off skeletons -- his target collapses back to its componenets. yep, appears they are minions. Barshevy calls on his god to aid Fargrim, healing some of the acid damage, but fails to himself hurt the ooze.

Lafiel looks surprised as the cube appears and the skeletons rise. Realizing her pretty bad position on top of the arch and realizing she can't do much more for Fargrim, Lafiel pulls out a shuriken, throws it at a nearby skeleton, then :
If ducking would give her cover from the skeletons in the green area , she'll do that. If not, she'll move back to H9.

So, i've taken 10 acid. Then Barshevy healed me 7 + my 12 surge. So, I'm at full hp still, correct?
You also took 10 when the globe hit you, so you're down 1. If you're still in the cube at the beginning of your next turn, you'll take another 10 acid (not counting any attack by the cube).

Is that the order of initiative for the remainder of round 2 as well as round 3?
I find it simpler not to try to count rounds, which are unnecessary in 4E once any surprise round is over and the initial order is established. It just cycles through the order. When I update, I take it from whomever needs to post next and list everyone else.
Qadim-sul
Qadim-sul heaves on the rope, trying to pull Fargrim out of the cube. Aid Another (Athletics) (1d20+7=13)
Next round (assuming Fargrim's out of the cube; otherwise, keep trying to get him out):
Qadim-sul drops his crossbow and whips out his khopesh, flicking out a lasso of lightning to snare the nearest skeleton.

Drivish lowers a rope to Fargrim, while the ooze sloshes in its pit, as if attempting to hit Qadim-sul, even while some of the remaining rats bite at it. Lafiel's shuriken demolishes another skeleton. The rats meanwhile, move en masse to the only thing with flesh they can easily reach, Qadim-sul (-7hp, 3hp ongoing, save ends). The genasi works on pulling the dwarf out of the cube's grasp while the skeletons fire again -- except for s4, which is dismantled by rats.
Fargrim, ironically, is protected from the rats by the cube, but manages to pull himself out on the ropes by held by his friends.
-3hp each for Qadim-sul, Rin, Drivish. Fargrim needs to pick any space adjacent to the cube to land in.

I have no idea how many hp I have now (11? I don't know if those rolls for the rats against me are hits or not), nor what round we're on! But it looks like it's been a couple, so here's some saves to end my ongoing damage:

Then Barshevy healed you for 6 + 7 (your surge, mark one off), so you're down 13. Now it's your turn again. First, the rat aura hits you for 6 more, and you take the 3 ongoing, so down 22. Then you attack the rats and shift, which I'll resolve when I've got more time, then you made your save. So you're at 8hp and no longer bleeding.
