Okay okay, first I know that the favored soul is not Open Content, so the guys of PF will not convert it to PF.
But anyway, I dm PF, and one of my players seems interested at playing a favored soul, because of the "sorcerer of the cleric" feel of spontaneous divine magic. Looking at complete divine I saw that the favored soul is pretty weak and strange, so I took all those strange abilities he had and added channel energy like a cleric, and acces to one only domain.
Now, I was thinking about adding a little extra something to make up for the power of the new PF classes. Someone mentioned in this board that the Spirit Shaman was okay to play on PF was written, because of one ability to change the know spell list every day.
Now guys, do you think that if I add this to the favored soul it will become too much powerful? I don't think so, and I think it's just necessary to make it playable, but I would love some thoughts about it, speciallywith the new and more powerful PF classes...

Weak? All good saves and lots of cleric spells is weak? All he gives up over the cleric is turning (and unless you use divine feats, that's not too much of a problem) and domains (though he does get enough spells known to make up for that), and heavy armour, if I recall correctly. And of course the split of casting ability scores. But he does gain lots of nice things to make up for it.
He might be a bit weaker than the cleric, I give you that, but compared to more moderate base classes, I don't think he has to hide.

One of my players is a Favoured Soul of Abadar, currently lvl 8 in Hook Mountain. So far the class seems to work nicely in PF. My attempt to convince the party to take core classes failed miserably and as result they are currently: Favoured Soul, Binder, Duskblade, Beguiler - all classes work RAW, except some tweaks to Binder.
