We are now within 3 hours of the debate we have all been waiting for: the two craziest people to ever VP: Biden and the one and only, Alaskan proximity to Russia, um..., hockey mom, pulled back hair, glasses, Alaskan-accent, beauty contest-loser, moose shooting, blank staring, outrageous Sarah Palin!!!!
Can't wait for a stupid Palin reply, or for Biden to shoot his mouth snd something crazy. It should be great. i'm a little disappointed that I'm missing the Office, but this will be just as funny!!!

Obama won vs. McCain last week, and he said absolutely nothing that had anything to do with anything. It's like the Nixon/Kennedy debate.
Nixon won on radio, but Kennedy had a tan, and Nixon was sick, refused makeup, and looked like a trollborn leprechaun of some sort.
I'm watching. I'm hoping for something like Nixon sweating, only verbally. It's horrible, but I'm actually interested in seeing a train wreck.

I definitely noticed Biden repeating the exact same two minutes verbatim about 15 minutes apart. All he really said the whole time was "McCain votes exactly like Bush every time."
Also, I noticed that when Palin asked about why some of his opinions differed so greatly from Obama's until he was picked as VP, he never actually responded.
He'd have to have some other powers...maybe stretching?

It's actually much more intriguing and valuable to have 5 people actually talking about more than just the Economy and Iraq. The Biden/Palin drama is interesting, but actual politics is much better.

To be honest, I know nothing of Canadian politics (like you needed an American to admit that to you.) I do like watching Parliament in action much better than our politicians.
It was awesome when Palin flatly refused to answer questions, misquoted and misidentified leaders in Afghanistan or in lieu of answering directly talked about how she isn't a "Washington insider" and made appeals to middle class stereotypes.

Yeah, pretty much in all respects except instead of British accents you get English Canadian and French Canadian accents.
