The first thing you do when you get to work is check the board to see if any of your friends have posted anything new. You guys know who you are. You assign your students "learning activities" to have an excuse to check the board. You have more people you consider to be your friends on the board than in the town you live in.

Dude, I'm a total junkie. I intentionally do 75 minutes' worth of work in 45 minutes so I can check the boards more often.

Well, I fit in the :you check the boards right when you get to work: thou not much friends yet. I'll keep pestering CJack and CourtFool whom seem to be the closest to enter the category. Thou far, over 400 post in 30 days!

I don't know if I should be proud or scared... maybe both

It is a fine board with fine people, and my addiction to Paizo's products and the posters on these threads has brought a bounty of laughs and thought and imagination into my life. My thanks to all my pushers.

Cheers!

Come on! You know you want to try it! The first hit is free!

Grand Lodge

I check the blog every time I sit down at my laptop, which is everytime I come home, and most of the time I'm at home. But then, I also check every other site I frequent while I'm at it. So I guess it's not Paizo specific.

Every couple of days I'm pestering my wife to see if we have enough money for another pdf or subscription or something. This place is like crack for nerds.

I run and play in pbp's; sometimes when I get up, I like to make sure that there's not another reply or something, so I can think up a cool reply on the commute. Gives me something to do beside hate my fellow commuters, and wish they were dead.

Although that's fun sometimes.

You know me too well.

Hey, why you think that goblin hit Smeggik in the head with a rock?!?

Liberty's Edge

When you're more likely to know when and where your fellow Paizonians are on holidays (so you can track the schedule of your pbps) than (when) your workmates (are on holidays).

Especially when you're job is killing people and breaking things.

Poor, poor Smeggik. Oh well, he's imaginary.

Dark Archive

Another sign would be that you actually make it down to this part of the boards.

You feel the above was an attack targetted specifically at you.

I actually have to run my a$$ off the first hour of work lately,....;)

Hey, I just check the first hour I'm up and the last hour before I go to bed. I'm not addicted. I don't have a problem. I can quit whenever I want!

Been there, done that! (Beta release day it came through at about 2.30am here and I just kept refreshing every 5 mins for the last hour, even though I had only had 4hrs sleep the night before and had to get up at 6.30am for a meeting).

EDIT: I check them when I get up (actually first thing I do when I get up is walk out and turn the computer on) and it's open all night after I get home so I can periodically check in. And then if I'm working at home then it's just open all day so I can keep abreast of the current Paizolitical Climate.

Dark Archive

I should have left for work five minutes ago and I'm here posting.

Sovereign Court

I refuse to acknowledge an addiction therefore I don't have one.
Simple as that.

Well, I could say I'm addicted but then again, I've been here only like five or six week... so I can quit anytime...

You could be an addict if…

You get mad when people do not respond quick enough.

The top 10 threads in Off-Topic Discussions has your name as the last poster.

You know who Sebastian is and why everyone hates him.

You actually understand anything Heathansson posts.

You remember my previous avatar.

You have an alias.

You know what the Edition Wars are.

You know who is on what side of the Edition Wars.

You might be an addict if you have caught yourself wondering why Paizo put Joshua Frost on the cover of Sins of the Saviors.

If you want, a bunch of us Cultists of Sebastian (ok, just me) are invading this new Poodle thing to see what's up. need to protect the high lord and master, don't-cha know. That should rekindle your inner cultist.

CourtFool wrote:

That's not fair, I would have had a perfect score if you hadn't of cheated and used something from before I was a member. You've been a poodle as long as I've been on these boards. In fact you have just invalidated the test because someone who isn't addicted could just happen to remember that :( you suck courtfool.
