I always hated that this list is printed like it is. PH from WotC did it the same way. Everytime I search a weapon (well, not every time, but...), I had to skim the whole list, as I didn't know exactly what kind of weapon it is, especially if you have new players searching, or weapons that are rarely used...
I wonder if such a list could be arranged alphabetically, with all the Simple Weapons printed in green color, all Martial Weapons printed in red, and the Exotic Weapons printed in blue color, for example.
This way it would be far easier to look up a weapon, and also easy to check all the weapons your pc is proficient with.
Would such a thing be possible?

While I don't think that this would be a good thing for the book, nothing stops you from doing such a list for yourself and then providing the players with it!
