Where, oh where, is my hide shirt?

So, no hide shirt in the Campaign book. BOO!

I had a buddy who talked to people at GenCon who said it was because they felt the hide shirt was good for specific regions but not for general availability (or something like that). But what is my MGwani tribesman paladin to wear?

Leather armour? Tpo processed and, honestly, too weak. Metal armour? Ugh, no thanks. Hide Armour? Too heavy, reduces mobility and speed too much. Hide shirt? Just the right combination of flavour and usefulness.

We have chainmail and chain shirt, so why no hide armour and hide shirt?

So, I suppose what I'm trying to say is maybe allowing hide armour would be a good thing.

While we're putting in access requests I have one of my own. Cal needs a camel. I mean what kind of Qadiran or Osiron would ride a simple horse. We need our humped friends. Besides, I laugh every time I envision a gnome on a camel :).

Maybe halflings and gnomes should get riding hyenas or riding emus.

I also noticed that there was no sawtooth saber in the campaign book either. Now I know that it's the signiture weapon of an evil assassins guild, but it's still a cool weapon.

Plus, what happened to some of the new feats they introduced, like crossbow mastery? And this new thing about character traits. I'd think these would be included in the actual RPG, don't you?

Emu! Score! Cal would love having a birdie to ride around on!

Many games ago, my Halfling Rogue had a hyena named "Mangy Dog" as a mount. It added just the right amount of flavor to a ner-do-well character.

I played a brownie who would ride his cat familer into battle once - imagine the look on the bad guys face as they go to swat the cat from thier face and get hit by a daze spell... although it was rather funny that mage hand cast on himself was faster than him walking once the cat got killed

It is in hide-ing!!! yuck! yuck! yuck! ~ducks the rotten fruit thrown my way~

I think you will find that the Pathfinder Society disagrees with you. From the Qadiran faction feat Horse Lord:

"Your people are masters of battling on horseback and you have mastered their rare skill."

But I do agree with you. Camels should be accessible to characters without having to have a level of Druid for getting an Animal Companion.
