Arcane Strike question

General Discussion (Prerelease)

Can a Warlock take and effectively use Arcane Strike?
Can a Rogue who has taken Major Magic as a Rogue talent use arcane strike?

I have a PC who will be wondering about both things and I'm uncertain of wording versus spirit.

As for the Warlock, since a Warlock uses Invocations and not spells, it would already be a judgement call to allow Invocations to qualify. As Warlocks are not OGL, Paizo couldn't add this into the Beta, so any GM could choose to allow it. As for effectiveness? I suppose. I'd think most Warlocks would be better served using Hideous Blow though, or Eldritch Glaive. Especially considering that Arcane Strike only grants a damage bonus and not a bonus to hit.

As for Rogues with Major Magic, since the Rogue gains the ability to cast a spell (even though as a spell-like ability) they could benefit from this feat. Their caster level is only Rogue Class Levels divided by 2 though, so multiclassing would hamper this ability even more.
So a Rogue 20 in PFRPG with Major Magic and Arcane Strike would get a +3 Damage Bonus from Arcane Strike.

I asked a similar question here and got snowed under with a bunch of "no" responses. YMMV.

Neither Warlocks, nor Rouges are arcane spellcasters so the answer for both would be no.
