(Since I am playing in the Second Darkness, an so I am not allowed to post there . . . :) )
- What stats should be used for the Tieflings of Riddleport?
- Will their be an "official" PathfinderRPG write up for them?
- With the changes to the base races, are Tieflings still a +1 ECL in the PathfinderRPG?
Inquiring minds want to know?

Remember, for Cycle 0 of PFS, the rules are all still 3.5, so the MM/SRD Tiefling stats are the ones to use.
The Beta doesn't have any monsters or "new" races, so again, MM/SRD for Tiefling stats. (My rough guess is that they might be LA +0 with Beta races, exactly as written, but many others say they're still too powerful to not be LA +1.)
Edit: The CS does have a few sentences on them in the "Other Races" section on page 40.

Not wanting to plug products, but Kobold Q6 has a good write-up on Tieflings, written by the race's original designer.
I'm assuming that it won't be until there is a Pathfinder Monster product/supplement that we'll see an update on the tieflings; the Second Darkness uses the base Monster Manual version.

I would use tieflings as they are, but get rid of the +1 LA. Common sense says that it's barely jusfiable using 3.5 SRD rules, and is definitely unneccessary in Pathfinder considering the power-ups "standard" races have in the Beta rules.
Best thing about the power-ups is that races like the Tiefling and Hobgoblin, which never really earned that dreaded LA+1, will be on an even playing ground with the rest of the LA+0 crowd.

At higher levels (level 9+) I completely agree, the level adjustment is stupid. But when you're still facing large numbers of "Person" spells, the blanket immunity granted by their Outsider (native) type is a bit too much IMO. Now if they were Humanoid type, of course the LA is excessive under 3.5.
For Pathfinder... ehh, I still don't feel good about Tieflings and LA either way. They're a bit overpowered without an LA, but a bit underpowered with a level adjustment.

Personally I think a strong argument could be made for them(and Aasimar) to lose the Outsider type. Generations of dillution and all that.

Change it to Humanoid (extraplanar) and be done with it. IMO, the Outsider type is for critters that are exclusively native to other planes, like demons and celestials, not humans whose grandmother got jiggy with a Mancubus.

(extraplanar) implies that they weren't born here, and that they'd be vulnerable to Banishment and Dismissal. I doubt we really want a 5th level Tiefling PC suddenly ending up in the Nine Hells because of one bad save.
Well, some of us don't like Tieflings anyway.
Perhaps we can give the Dragonborn and the Drow the (extraplanar) subtype? :>
Seriously, good point. That would be bad.

*snerk, guffaw* "Mancubus"? *huge grin* If I'd have been drinking, I'd have sprayed. *offers cookie* Please accept this cookie as a token of my appreciation for your delivery, good sir.

Second this question :) Just been glancing through the Campaign Book and the Beta, and not finding anything on Tieflings ... help?
Since part of Pathfinder's goal (even for the new game) is 3.5 reverse compatibility, I recommend checking out Beyond Countless Doorways from Malhavok Press (Monte Cook) it has a more variable and interesting tiefling stat generation layout and compensates for more bloodlines. I also recommend looking at the fiendish bloodlines in Unearthed Arcana as that they would work for a stronger fiendish heritage.

My reaction was colored with more horror.
