So, there we are with a Gazeteer (and soon finally a campaign book!) with dozens of new regions. There are stories and backgrounds for all tastes
But which one really caught your attention? Where are you leading your players or where you will lead then on your future adventures? What regions you are interested in telling (and hearing!) stories from? And why?
Ive been personally attracted to the "unusual" ones. Unusual in the sense of been different from the norm.
Right now Im working on an adventure in Irrisen. The idea of Baba Yaga, the witch covens and villages in snowy regions caught my attention. Sprinkle some Lovecraft and you got something really exciting ;)
The idea behind Geb really got me. I actually havent been thinking of adventures, but stories and situations themselves, considering the makeup of this realm The same goes to the Sodden Lands and the Realm of the Mammoth Lords
The religious side of Druma, Rahadoum and Razmiran... Too many ideas to fit a single campaign ;)
What about you?

Honestly, we're set in Varisia for a while yet. We've gotten rather attatched to the place.
Osirion is the one I've been chomping at the bit to get at most, primarily because I'm crazy for ancient Egypt. I've been hungry for all the details about that setting that I can get. My problem is that I both want to run a game there as well as play in one. That and having the Hamunaptra setting setting next to me lends itself to a high risk of burning my group out on Egyptian-themed adventure, so I'm having to be cautious.
I really want to know more about Irrisen too, along with Jandelay. The former just seems right for the "heavy metal fairy tale" feel a few of my players seem to want, and the latter has had me curious ever since details of Vudra came out in Pathfinder #9. I'd love the chance to weild a cutlass in the Shackles as well(because, well...yarr).

I'm working on an adventure set in Sandpoint. My daughter would like to try playing, but many of the published adventures are a bit too "adult". So I'm writing some stuff that is a bit more PG. Starting in Sandpoint again gives me plenty of NPCs and maps that I don't need to create however.
The overall plot arch will be that an evil dragon has moved into the area and is using minions to look for a lost hoard rumored to be in Mosswood. He is using local minions to do the work so I'll be using a lot of local goblinoids and various monsters. I'm thinking that the lost treasure will be fey linked so I can add in lots of crazy magic items.
The PCs (Cindra and her friend) will start off as students of either Mvashti or Ilosoari. They'll uncover evidence of goblin activity while searching for herbs and such. And then things go from there.

Once Beta has arrived and my group have created our fresh new characters, its off to Darkmoon Vale for us all and the adventures that reside within. Already I have collected a good amount of info on the region, be it from the Guide, too the various modules already supporting the area!
Less than a month to go and all of us can't wait to begin!
The prepping continues!
