Any chance at Hero Points?

So, I played through an Arcana Evolved campaign, and a Ptolus campaign using Hero Points, and recently the Wizards Star Wars game using Force Points (similar, but different)... I would like to see something similar in 3p.

I kind of like the way that Force Points function a little bit better, since you get them every level, but you lose your "pool" from the previous level, which encourages use.. we saw a lot of hero point hoarding in the AE game and in Ptolus.

Anyway, I'd love to see 'Legend Points' or something in 3p. I think they add a lot to the game.

I never cared for the “action / force points,” since seeing them introduced in concept mainly in D20 Star Wars / Eberon. It

That being stated -- their usefulness in rerolls (such as Fate Points in Age of Worms) do not seem over the top in the application of the game. Much like the orgional characteristics of the Luck Domain, or binding with the Vestige Balam (sp?).

I find the thought of having this reserve of points you can hold onto like a battery of sorts, as a tad abusive in my games…
