The rules state when performing a combat maneuver, make an attack roll and add your CMB. DC to beat is 15 + target's CMB, and you succeed on a roll equal to or greater than the target DC. My question is about the actual roll.
It says attack plus CMB. (attack) + (CMB) = (1d20 + STR mod + BAB + Size mod) + (BAB + STR mod + Size mod). Is this correct? I'm wondering because an attack roll plus CMB seems redundant.
Hoping for some clarification. Thanks!

Nope, it is just a simple 1d20 roll plus your CMB. Do not add in your BAB, Str, and Size mod again.

Thanks a bunch. The wording is somewhat ambiguous.
