I've been looking at the Aasimar and trying to come up with a way to Pathfinderise the race so that it keeps the +1 level adjustment.
Current Aasimar:
+2 Wisdom, +2 Charisma: Aasimar are blessed with insight and personal magnetism.
Medium sized
Aasimar base speed is 30ft.
Acid, cold, electricity resistance 5.
Light (Sp): Aasimar can use light once per day as cast by a sorcerer of their character level.
+2 Racial bonus on Listen and Spot checks. [this would be Perception]
Darkvision 60ft.
Outsider: Aasimar are native outsiders.
Favoured class: Paladin
Level Adjustment +1
I don't want to add a third +2 Stat boost as this seems too strong?
How about....
+ 1 Racial bonus on all Charisma based skill checks [..personal magnetism..]
..and/or
Choose one of Acid, cold or electricity and increase the resistance to 10.
..and/or
Light (Sp) to be used 3/day.
..and/or
Darkvision 120ft.
A combination of 1, 2, 3 or all 4 of these??

Why would you want it to retain a +1LA when the way all the core races have been rewritten and boosted, the aasimir and the tiefling can be played, as written, as a +0LA race?
Is a +2 boost to one stat really enough to level them?
What value do you put on Resistance 5 to Acid, Cold and Electricity?
plus,
Darkvision 60ft., +2 to Perception, Light etc?
...also many of the core races have a -2 to a stat which the Aasimar don't?
I don't know!

Yes that adjustment would do the trick for me. Though I still find the Favored Class of Paladin in this case with the Lawful Good Alignment restriction in place a tad bothersome considering the other Good Alignments.
Perhaps Cleric? Or a revised Favored Soul?
Do note that I've intentionally used the term 'and' rather than 'or' for the Favored Classes. Part of the +1 LA comes from the fact that they have three classes open to them and gain the benefits of the favored class for any of the classes they take.
Unlike a dwarf fighter 7/cleric 5, who gains only +7 or +5 hit points, an aasimar paladin 10/cleric 2 would gain +12 hit points as I have intended.

I don't have a problem with keeping the +1LA.
But why +2 CON ? You're taking the Aasimar from 3.5 and saying that it's now tougher than originally intended. I'm not saying thats wrong but why would they be tougher rather than say, stronger?
The issue I had making them +0LA was trying to keep as close to the original race stats as possible. I ended up with 2 +1's [like or hate] because other suggestions like giving a -2 CON, or just one floating +2 didn't fit, for me, with the race, so I didn't use them.
Just interested really.

Well, I wanted both the tiefling and aasimar to have 3 +2 stats. Cha and Wis were easy, since they already had them. I didn't want to use Int, because I wanted two mental and one physical stat.
Of the three, Dexterity actually fit the best. Aasimar being seen as graceful is not too much of a stretch. But I'd already used Dex for the Tiefling and wanted to make them different. Between Strength and Constitution, I figured that Aasimar would be better known for their toughness and unwillingness to give up than they would be known for their brute strength and raw power.
