One of my favorite artists is Luis Royo, but he has a tendency to really enjoy drawing naked ladies, so it's hard to find a tamer picture of his.

That second one is very good. She may not be varisian, but she dresses as one even at the annoyance of her father. That has a very nice look to it.
I was considering waiting a little bit, since I have a feeling the way she displays herself may change if things progress with you two(she's more likely to tag along and try and take on something of a martial look) but for now, that second image can certainly work.

Very cool. I like that image. Also, I'm imagining her father's face when she tells him that she is leaving to ride off with Jereth. Priceless, and scary. Then there is the possible image of her telling Jereth that she has permission to go only for him to find out later that she had really just sneaked away. Oh conflict and character development galore either way. :)
I tried to find some images of the other party members, but my google-fu is weak where gnomes are concerned, and I am afraid I just don't have too much of an idea of your character Jinn. It will come later. The same issue with your monk Damia. Although I would guess you would be far better at finding an image for her than I.
I did find some that could work for Dannie, but I'm having difficulty finding one I can link to. Most of them are at least partially nude though so not linking is probably a good thing. I've got nothing against drawing nudes mind you. I just don't like linking to them.

I don't think that would be too much of a problem if you linked to such a drawing as long as you put a NSFW tag with it, I know that in the fan art section there are a few like that and I haven't seen any complaints as long as they are labeled as such.
Every character that Damia has ever made in a game I have been in with her the first pic or two she comes up with tends to be at least partially nude. I have had to point out to her before that something was a good picture but would be a skanky paladin.
When she started hunting around for something for shayliss the first thing she fired over to me was topless though you could only see the back. I don't think you are going to offend.
Besides, she's a monk, they don't need equipment so it makes sense.

Man, all of this looking at art makes me want to buy copies of some of this and put it up on my wall. Most of my friends decorate their rooms with scantily clad models. Me, Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany's, Marlyn, Sean Connery, Frank Sinatra, and several paintings depicting Knights and their Lady-Loves. Add some of these to that collection and its' all pretty good classic and classy stuff. Now if only I can improve my own painting skills... Sorry, just thinking/typing out loud.

Well... in my description, I say that he appears like a skinny dwarf (since this was the closest to a male gnome in the avatars)
have any idea how hard it is to find a picture of a dwarf without a beard!?

I know this is a comparatively awful suggestion, but maybe a gully dwarf from dragonlance? They are slightly smaller and skinnier then normal dwarves and about half of them don't have beards. I think the biggest problem a picture of one would be looking for one that wasn't drawn as excessively grimy or holding something odd.

I had another question for everyone's opinion on.
Obviously, as with any adventure path, there will be adjustments to the story based on all of your actions and just to make the game fit around your characters and I figure that is kind of par for the course.
However, in real life APs I have a tendency to toss in side-quests, be it modules or home brew treks or the like. In a play by post I realize that it takes longer to get through things, so those hoping to see the whole AP might be less up for that idea.
Naturally, anything added would be something I feel would add to the story and introduce you to people or places that would play into the overall adventure, but I would likely slow down your xp progression briefly while you were doing it so that no one would get too far ahead for the AP itself. It would be a chance for a bit of extra loot though if you were ever behind.
I won't make a big deal of this as we play, so depending on your familiarity with the AP you might not even know when something is a side trek rather then part of the actual story.
How does everyone feel about this idea? These are the sort of things I'll only include if people have interest.

Ofter due consideration and carefully weighing the options I have come to the following conclusion.
Go ahead and add in side adventures and whatever else strikes your fancy. You are a wonderful DM and I trust that anything you add will serve to forward each of our character's sub-plots and development. I'm not so concerned about completing the entire adventure path as I am with simply playing the game and seeing where all of us end up.
So, as the squirrels say ... go nuts!
It often takes a bit of time to gt the feel for your character, but Tamai has a lot of really cool hooks to him, I have a feeling he is going to work very well.
And I don't mind at all. I actually have the cards myself, but I don't have such ready access to a scanner, so if you wish to do that it would be great. Also, if any of you want to see any pictures of anything just let me know, I can normally come up with one from one of the books or some of the community created things.
I've slowed down a little bit on getting things up just because I've been busy, but if I don't put something up and link to it on the photobucket and you are curious, please, just let me know and i'll get it there.
And since I'm sure its going to be the first question, sadly I don't think Shayliss has a pic so far, either in the books or community created. She looks like she will start to play a bigger role in the campaign with how Jereth has been acting with her, so I am looking for a good pic of her.

This is the closest 2 I have found, but still not quite there (no tan or tattoos, I'm working on a portrait though)

I'd notice, but care? Heck no. The world was meant to be drag and drop into your own if need be, please add whatever. I like when a world changes aroudn the events and actions of a character/s

I'm going to give GMing here at Paizo a shot. Each of you have an invitation to join if you want. I'm shooting for a character driven and gritty feeling with a sprinkling of suspense and horror. Great, just wanted to make sure that the idea of shifting things around was ok for everyone. Obviously it happens no matter what, but I have a tendency to make fairly big changes if left to my own devices.
And you are running in ravenloft? That is an entirely unfair draw. I'd love to play in it, though I have to admit that I'm pretty busy as well and have been working real hard to keep up constant posts on this board. Pretty much like Damia said, if you are looking for further players, I'd be happy to join, but I'd rather not take up a slot if you find someone who is going to be able to guarantee to be more active.

Edit: I read through the description. Damn I love ravenloft and you are using Alpha rules. Thats really not fair at all. I can probably handle keeping up with the pace as a player since that means less poses all around, but let me see what I can imagine up as a background/concept and pitch it to you. I can apply just like everyone else and you can grab who you like.

Sounds good to me Tarlane. Don't sweat the posting pace. I tend to GM games a lot slower than I play. I wouldn't be surprised if the game averaged just one post from me a day, or even less if I'm waiting for other players.

Sorry I've been a bit more quiet then normal this week. Had a combination of my boss being on vacation the last two weeks so I got stuck with two jobs, a toothache that has made it hard to concentrate on too much, and being dragged to watch an awful lot of bad movies that have kept me from the computer. Other then potentially the bad movie thing, that should all be more or less resolved now.

Tamai, you underestimate. When I say bad movies, I mean like 'flight of the living dead'. Though I do think batman is going to be pretty good. On one level it hurts me because the original with the joker was a great movie and remakes of good things are always painful, but it looks like they did it justice this time.
Went and saw Hellboy last night and it was pretty enjoyable too. Sort of neat, the majority of the movie revolving around Hellboy had a similar feeling to the first one, but then when they dealt with any of the more fantastical creatures you could really feel Del Toro's style(a la Pans Labyrinth). You could tell he got a lot more leeway on this one.
And you are going to pick on the poor naive paladin now? I've been trying to imagine what this parties dynamics were going to be like, and somehow I can see that as being somewhat natural.

haha I think Batman is going to be good, but what I think and what the girlfriend thinks are two different stories.
I think that Tamai's kind of turning into a 'Gritty yet fatherly' figure. Quick to console, yet also able to pick on people... Trying to pull off the "he's one of the least magic gnomes" part to show how even if he tries to distance himself from them, their mentality does slip through once in a while with random fey-ish jokes.
I admit that flight of the living dead was an awful movie, but I expected as much.
And hellboy 2 was really good.

Well, I have good news and not so good news. The good news is that I have a new job that actually uses the college degree that I sunk so much money into. :)
