Kevin Simbieda reports that Erick Wujcik, developer of the Amber diceless game, has died.

That's very unfortunate. I always loved his weird animal mutant games (After the Bomb et al.) May he rest in peace.

I'm sorry to hear of his passing as well

Ah... crap!
(That explains why our email conversation stopped...)

I'll miss you Erick.

Sovereign Court

I loved Erick's stuff when he worked at palladium, TMNT RPG and Ninjas & Superspies were my absolute favorites from that company, he will be missed.

The Exchange

I used to play test material for Erick, some of which got published, some of which thankfully did not. For only knowing someone by email, I would like to have thought he was a friend. You will be missed Erick.

I'd have to say that next to D&D, I played various Palladium system games more than any others...Rifts, Ninjas & Superspies, TMNT...truly inspired games and a whole lot of fun.

RIP Erick, and thanks for all the fond memories.

*sniffles*

*SAD*

I loved the TMNT and Other Strangeness book. Only the other day I was (comically) defending it online and thinking of pulling it out to make another freak-show animal mutant monster character. Possum was in there - ha! A possum! Loved it!

Thanks Erick, although I didn't know you, I loved your work!

Peace,

tfad

This is yet another loss to hit the industry. RIP Erick.

Bad things happen in threes: Gary Gygax, Bob Bledsaw, and now Erick Wujick. :(

It's like finding out your favorite teacher died. He was appreciated and will be missed. May his next game session be eternal.
