Does anyone think Rangers should get to use their Favored Enemy bonus or even maybe their Favored Terrain bonus on CMB rolls when applicable?

Of course I'm not sure I would bullrush an ooze even with a big bonus...

You may or may not want to bullrush an ooze, however I can always see a bonus to getting out of an "enveloped" situation (grapple) being a good thing.

Favored Enemy gives +attack. It wouldn't be a stretch to see it cover CMB as well.

I'd like to know if there's an official ruling on this, one of my players is curious too.

Liberty's Edge

Seems reasonable. I mean, if you're accustomed to fighting nasty aberrations, chances are you're going to know how to do more than just stab it in a soft spot... And as mentioned above, especially for the grappling nastiness of things that like to eat adventurers.

Liberty's Edge

As written, any combat maneuver that is used "as part of an attack action" should gain the benefits of attack boosts, including (but not limited to) favored enemy bonuses.
