Inspire Courage and Combat Maneuver Bonus

I was wondering if this has come up for anyone else. Does the bonus received from the Bard's Inspire Courage ability help when performing a Combat Maneuver?

Actually I'm inclined to disagree:

Does attack roll mean a total modified attack roll? or just means roll a D20 like an attack roll.

I always thought it was the latter.

If were using attack rollas the completely modified attack roll, I'm thinking thats out of balance.

Does Weapon Focus, Divine Favor, Charging, flanking, Enhancement bonus on the weapon all affect the attempt to trip? If so - you're effectly doubling the strength modifier - you're making a full modified attack roll, AND strength is included in the CMB that you're now adding to the roll.

I don't think this is the way it's intended.

And if I'm right - then the bard-song ability shouldn't be used in the calculation, either.
