Scarab Sages

His role as Hedey (that's "Hedley") Lamar in Blazing Saddles was one of the greatest onscreen villains of all time.

He was 81.

R.I.P.

I will always remember him as the White King in the 1985 television version of Alice in Wonderland and his minor Don Rickles rolls on the comic's tv specials.

Aw man. He was cool.

Further infractions should be punished by firing squad.

RIP funny man.

He was fun to watch, even when he was losing it on the Carol Burnett Show.

"Thats Hedley, HEDLEY!"
"de Monet, DE MONET!"

same joke, different movies, funny both times.

Not to derail further (I *loved* the Carol Burnett show when I was a wee one), but the site you chose for your rickroll completely hijacks a visitor's browser and even interferes with the ability to quit the application. Next time just link to a youtube post and your rickroll will be fine. :-)

Probably my all-time favorite Mel Brooks villain.

And honestly, Western villain too.
