does anyone know of a module that puts the party through any part of the plane of carceri? Im anticipating a need for this in my campaign and am not sure where to look!
Thanks
Lee
Asylum, back in Dungeon #116, takes place on Carceri. Of course, it's also for 20th level characters and is the last adventure in the Shackled City Adventure Path, so that might mess things up a little...

I think in the (very) late 2ed RPGA jam module there was an adventure set in carceri. It dealt with the imprisoned titans and a plan for escape from the plane. Perhaps with a little conversion this would serve?
If it wasn't in that module, it was definately in one of my late 2ed anthology modules. I'll check later and confirm where I saw it.

I'm curious about the OP's need.
Are you looking for official errata on Carceri and thus are limiting your research to adventures with the word "Carceri" and its descriptions or would you be willing to take a cursory look at any adventures off the Prime Material that are "prison-like" or have a prison motif?
Let us know if you're open to the latter and we'll be able to provide a number of adventures you can modify to make into your own Carceri.

This would be for a 15th level party... one of the players has played through shackled city, so that module wont work.
This is more of a side quest thing in the campaign to rescue a party member who got plane shifted there, and cant get back on his own... the party seems intent on rescuing him...
anyhow, i dont have alot of info on caraceri (but i know the jist of the plane and its prision qualities, which is why i chose to send the pc to this particular location... for flavor purposes)
seeing that the party now wants to go on this grand resuce mission, id like to be able to put them through a scenario with some "richness" of story and backdrop, so i was hoping for a module since im not well versed in the location.
id be very open to a medium-high level off-prime module with a prison motif that i can just sub out encounters with more carceri flavored stuff... if there is no real 3.5e module readily available.

if you can recall the module name, that would be great!

Are you willing to do some modification? Or do you need to run this out of the can?
If you have the luxury of doing modifications, check out Chains of Blackmaw by Nick Logue. It's for 10th level PCs. However, by replacing the prisoners with a variety of twisted creatures, and some not so twisted, as well as a makeover of the prison itself (try poisonous living walls maybe?), this could work very well. The plot itself is pretty solid, so you wouldn't have to change much with the scenario.
Anyway, that's my suggestion.

There was a late 2e anthology "Vortex of Madness" that had a module set in Carceri (dealing with the titans' attempts to escape the plane, and the buried god-corpse of Chronus).
There was also a module set in Carceri found within the anthology "Well of Worlds" also in 2e.
That's it! Sorry about the RPGA jam reference. I own both of these and I guess I got them confused. if you can find this adventure (the Vortex module), I think it would meet your needs splendidly.

I kinda figured it didn't have to be Carceri, just an off-Prime Material prison-break adventure.
What you really want, I mean, really want, is to do a little conversion work on "City of Skulls" by Carl Sargeant.
It will take only a little extra work to make this greatest-of-all-time prison-break adventure into a Planar adventure. Of course, it will take quite a bit of work to rewrite it from 2E to 3.5. Nonetheless, this is universally considered one of the best adventures ever written and you need to consider it.
Even though Iuz's capital (Dorakka?) is on the Prime Material, it does feel like another Plane; really, it would be almost nothin' to run that in Carceri.

ill have to try to find a copy of that... but it sounds great.
i also think "into the maw" could be nicely modded for the same purpose. thanks!
