Sharks have always been a huge source of fear for me. I've been terrified of them since I was a young'in. I watched Jaws once right before we went to the beach on vacation and I didn't even go near the water......now it doesn't matter, Dajobas' minions can get me anywhere! 8-O
Aye. I live on Cape Cod (where we have regular Great White sightings) and sharks are almost a big a fear for me as zombies. I was so scared I just ran over to your site and preordered the Razor Coast to placate Dajobas, He of the Endless Hunger. don't eat me!

Me too, I seen Jaws when I was like 4 not sure anymore, I was just very young. It freaked me out, I was utterly convinced jaws was out in the parking lot waiting for me in a giant fish tank. Since I have read about all i can find on sharks and seen many specials on them. But movies like Open Water still freak me out, I have a hard time watching them. I still watch jaws cause well now he looks kinda fake.

I closed my eyes threw parts of it, I just couldn't watch it. It had a very real feel of what it would be like to be the victim of a real shark attack. If you have shark issues and like to be freaked out i recomend renting it.

If you ever get over your fear, I have a spare bedroom you can crash in while vacationing. ;) The ocean is lovely ... to look at. <shudder>. There's a reason this area is the home of Jaws and H.P. Lovecraft.

Speaking of sharks, there is some unbelievable footage in David Attenborough's latest, Planet Earth, that has sharks breaching in crystal-clear extreme slow motion. (While watching it, I filled my girlfriend in on DAJOBAS: DEVOURER OF WORLDS! lol) Awe-inspiring footage. A little rough if you are a seal fan, though. Those hulks aren't blasting out of the water out of sheer joi d'vivre. ;)

Yeah, Sharks and Tigers are my two favorite animals by far. Perfect predators. So terrifyingly powerful.
I also dig on the Hawaiian mythos which is largely unexplored in D&D (which baffles me...its so cool!).

Wicked nice art, or to put it another way its Wicked WARsome! Question, I will be running a STAP campaign soon and I was looking to expand on the voyage to the Isle of Dread. How well would parts of this work to fill that out?
It would work brilliantly. Honestly, there are TONS of great encounters and sidetreks in Razor Coast that could fall right into Savage Tide. In fact, one of the major villains of the mega-adventure is tied directly to Demogorgon, which is hilarious considering I started writing this before Savage Tide was even an outline. There's a great deal of synergy.
Also, you may want to pick up the Art of the Duel Indulgence (available now here at Paizo), and the Mysteries of the Sea Indulgence (coming out next week on Sinister) if you are looking for good supplemental material for Savage Tide.

Word. That's crazy scary. You are NOT safe on a boat! Keep that in mind when adventuring along the Razor Coast my friends.
Also, while we are on the topic of terrifying sharks, the winner of the Spawn of Dajobas contest can be seen HERE

Hey, Nic,
Are you aware of this group?
I'm the blue ape, by the way, if anyone else wants to say "Hi"...
Ha! Yes! I know there is a Facebook group dedicated to me! It was started by some of my students in Hawai'i. Best students I've ever had. Great kids!
