Are there any plans on having some of the Adventure Paths that have already been published, placed in Golarion?

That is, will there be a way to buy the PDF for these older APs? SCAP, Age of Worm, Savage Tide, etc..?

Personnaly, I would be surprised, since those APs are the property of Wizards of the Coast.

Although any of the three Dungeon Adventrue Paths would, thematically, fit quite well into various locations in Golarion... they are the property of Wizards of the Coast, so there won't be any official conversion or product that does this.

That said, I'd love to hear stories about folk who have converted these APs to Golarion! :)

Age of Worms seems like it would fit fairly well in nothern Isger using Elidir for the Free City.

Shackled City seems something almost meant to fit in the Shackles in the mountains past Port Peril.

and as has been mentioned elsewhere the Sodden Lands would work really well with Savage Tide, along with the Island of Dread Being in the eye of the Hurricane.

at least thats my short and simple take on things.

Personally I really liked the campaign arcs, Istivin the city of shadows seems like a shew-in for somewhere in Varisia.

Maybe even use the Seeds of Sehan although I would have a much harder time to place though and I would have to change out the Yak Folk to some sort of variant Minotaur and then give at least one big maze in the place.

Yup. And I think the Paizo folks have their hands more than full anyway. But we could certainly have a discussion (if there isn't one already) on how we think those APs would best fit in Golarion.

Edit: beaten to the punch.

Since I missed Age of Worms, Savage Tide and SCAP (not even sure what it stands for), could someone tell me which magazines (and the issue numbers) that they are in?

I did buy Shackled City, and was hoping (apparently in vain) that the other APs would have been placed in a similar book.

They've made a nice page for you in the store to do this. If you look at Dungeon Issues, right at the top there is one link for the Savage Tide and another for Age of Worms. Each goes straight to a page containing all the issues where you can pick up any you might be missing.

Here's linkage

EDIT: SCAP = Shackled City Adventure Path, so you're covered there.

Are there any plans to have PDF for Savage Tide issues?

From what I've gathered reading around they can't sell isssues of Dungeon as pdf unless the print version is sold out.

Liberty's Edge

A bit of an off topic question, but its what I thought this thread was about from its name: Are there any plans for APs set in different time periods in Golarion? I know most first thoughts go to Thassilon or the death or Aroden or the like, but reading through the gazetteer's time-line, there are a whole lot of relatively minor events throughout that could have been something big, had a group of heroes not gone through and altered things.

For instance, in looking through the gazetteer, one of my players announced(OOCly) 'You know what? We're never going to the Isle of Kortos.' When questioned on it, he pointed out that eight years before a bunch of eyeless kraken started to wash up on shore. The player of our gnome got all excited and wanted to know when they could go. Its a great bit of fluff, even just in that one sentence, and having that many kraken surface at once, no less the knowledge of something powerful enough to kill them and take their eyes seems like a huge event. However, its likely one that would fade away into a side-note when nothing more came of it. But I could see a whole adventure built around stopping some great catastrophe that no one else knows of, beyond some of the bodies surfacing.

Spaced throughout the time-line are many different plot hooks like this, is there any official thought of exploring them, or are they just left there to add flavor and for DMs to touch on in their own campaigns?

Also: they (paizo) cannot make the PDFs because when their license ran out they could no longer create PDF copies of the magazines.
