(apologies to everyone bored to tears by my combat maneuver suggestions)
New rule
Weapon Finesse [General]
Prerequisite: Base attack bonus +1.
Benefit: With a light weapon, rapier, whip, spiked chain made for a creature of your size category or your natural weapon, you may use your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier on attack rolls. You may also use your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier to calculate your offensive combat bonus modifier for the purpose of performing the Disarm, Sunder and Trip combat maneuvers.
If you carry a shield, its armor check penalty applies to your attack rolls.
Normal
You use your Strength modifier on attack rolls and to calculate your offensive combat bonus modifier for the purpose of the Disarm, Sunder and Trip combat maneuvers.
Special
A fighter may select Weapon Finesse as one of his fighter bonus feats.
Natural weapons are always considered light weapons.
Note
This rule implies :
- a distinction between the calculation of the CMB for the attacker and for the defender.
- Agile Maneuvers for defense only
