What the hell? That's one of them sacred cows if you ask me.. and you can't make yourself look like someone else? What the f! is that all about?
I get that there's are new shapechanging spells, but polymorph needs to be back in as a spell itself.
I'd if Polymorph was just a weaker versions of that level 9 Shapechange spell... but bring Polymorph back, maybe make a Lesser, and rename Shapechange to Greater Polymorph.
BTW.. since you can't make yourself look like someone with Alter Self.. what spell LETS you impersonate someone? Because it doesn't seem to be here. Unless Disguise Self (not yet in Alpha) will be the impersonation spell of choice we need some impersonation spells. If it is going to be the impersonation spell, then it needs to be beefier since it's only level 1 and that makes it pretty weak later on.
Read the description of the "Polymorph" subschool. It says "[..] these spells make you appear to be the creature, granting you a +20 bonus on Disguise skill checks [..]". Since Alter Self is a spell of the polymorph subschool, it has that property too, I think.
